Orenda SC-1000 is a water treatment chelating solution designed to control metals and minerals in pools and spas. It is used during pool startups and routine maintenance to prevent carbonate scale formation and metal staining, and to assist in removing existing scale from heaters, salt chlorine generators, and other equipment. The formulation is phosphate-free and formulated for compatibility with common pool and spa construction materials and treatment chemicals.
